In order to graduate from Darlington High School, a student must:
Carry at least 6 credits each year with a maximum of 7 credits. Permissions to vary the maximum must be obtained from the high school counselor or principal.
Students should not take or be assigned more than two study halls per semester.
Be in regular attendance for eight (8) semesters.
Have accumulated a minimum of 24 credits.
These credits must include the following:
A minimum of four (4) credits of English and Speech.
A minimum of three 3) credits of Mathematics.
A minimum of three (3) credits of Science.
A minimum of three (3) credits of Social Studies.
One half (1/2) credit of Health
Student must pass 1 1/2 credits of Physical Education plus
Fulfill the senior Physical Education requirements.
Satisfying Darlington high school graduation requirements will allow you to receive a high school diploma. It won't get you into a university or some technical schools.
